Information for EAPs, Solicitors, and Insurance Companies

Thank you for considering this practice as a provider of CBT and EMDR for your clients. The practice has been established since 1991 and we have acquired a good reputation over the past twenty years. We aim to provide an efficient, professional, and compassionate service.

We are the principle provider of CBT services to the private sector in Gwynedd, Anglesey and Conwy. In rural North Wales, people are accustomed to travelling moderate to long distances in order to access services and Llanddaniel is conveniently located just off the main A55 dual carriageway on the Isle of Anglesey just ten minutes’ drive away from Bangor.

Our personal injury and accident work is all undertaken by BABCP accredited CBT practitioners who are also trained in the use of EMDR. CBT and EMDR are the only psychological treatments recommended by The National Institute For Health And Clinical Excellence (NICE) for the treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. BABCP accreditation is the only absolute guarantee that a psychological practitioner is trained and competent to practice CBT.

Our clinical service can provide psychological assessment and reports for clinical purposes. We do not provide medico-legal reports or assessments. Appointments are available during the week between 9am and 7pm, and on Saturday mornings. Wait times are usually only a few days.

Referrals may be made by post, or electronically, via email to Referral@adammay.co.uk. When making referrals, please provide client telephone and email details if you have them, as this facilitates an early appointment.

Practitioner resume, proof of accreditation, and practice insurance are all available in electronic format on request.

Our fees for agency work vary, depending upon the type of work and the degree of paperwork required so please email Adam May (adam@adammay.co.uk) with details of your requirements, or leave a telephone message with our office staff on 01248 421015, for a prompt response.

Fees are payable at the conclusion of treatment on presentation of our invoice and may be paid by cheque, or electronically by BACS or Paypal. Please notify us by letter of email as payments are transferred if you pay electronically.
