Fees and cancellations
All administration should be done through our office which takes calls on weekdays between 8.30am to 5.30pm. There is a voicemail service at other times.
Fees
Our current fees for all individual, fee paying clients and supervisees are £50 per one hour session. The provision of an invoice carries an additional £5 fee. The fee is payable at the end of each session and may be made by cash or cheque. It is also possible to make payments in advance electronically by BACS or Paypal. Please notify us by email in advance of the session if you wish to pay electronically.
Third party referrers should email Adam May (adam@adammay.co.uk) in the first instance, as our fees for agency work vary, depending upon the type of work and the degree of paperwork required. These fees are payable at the conclusion of treatment on presentation of our invoice and may be paid by cheque, or electronically by BACS or Paypal. Please notify us by letter of email as payments are transferred if you pay electronically.
Sessions via Telephone and Skype
Although many people prefer face-to-face meetings, therapy and supervision sessions via the telephone, and across the Internet through Skype, are sometimes more practical. Communication between Skype users is free. Skype also supports webcam use, if desired.
This service may be useful to people who live a long way from the practice, or those who do not have their own transport. It may also benefit people with children or dependent relatives.
Telephone and Internet supervision sessions are especially useful for supervisees located out of the North Wales area, or, indeed outside the UK. They provide an ideal solution for CBT practitioners in parts of the world where there are few other CBT practitioners.
Skype and telephone sessions are only available with Adam May and should be booked by telephoning the office. Please ensure that the office understand that you are booking for a telephone or Skype session when making the booking. You should call us on 01248 421015 at the agreed time. Our Skype account is cbt_support. If you are using Skype or a landline, we can call you, if you prefer.
Payment for Skype sessions must be made in advance by BACS or Paypal.
Skype can be downloaded for free at www.skype.com.
Cancellation Policy
If you wish to change an appointment please give us as much notice as possible. Plenty of advance notice usually means that other clients are able to take advantage of the time. Cancellations, for whatever reason, at less than 24 hours notice attract the full sessional fee. We do not charge the full fee for cancellations at less than 24 hours’ notice in order to be punitive, and fully appreciate that cancellations may have to be made for reasons beyond your control. However, last minute cancellations incur a loss to us and we feel it appropriate to pass this on.
The cancellation policy also applies where the funding is provided by employee assistance programmes, solicitors, or healthcare companies.
