Fees and cancellations

Fees

Sessions last for one hour and our hours are 9am to 9pm. Our sessional fee is £45. Sessions where an invoice is required attract a further £5 fee. You may find that your employer will cover some of your costs through their employee assistance programme.
We ask clients to settle their account at each face-to-face by cheque or postal order.  Alternatively, and for clients and supervisees using telephone or Skype, we ask you to settle your account using Paypal.  It is not necessary to have a Paypal account to pay using this method.  You just need a debit or credit card.

Sessions via Telephone and Skype

Although most people prefer face to face meetings, we are able to provide therapy sessions via the telephone and across the Internet through Skype.
Communication between Skype users is free.  Skype also supports web cam use.  Telephone and Internet supervision sessions are especially useful for supervisees located out of the North Wales area, or, indeed outside the UK.  They provide an ideal solution for CBT practitioners in parts of the world where there are few other CBT practitioners.
Skype can be downloaded for free at www.skype.com.
These can be booked through the office in the same way as a face-to-face session. This service may be useful to people who live a long way from the practice or who do not have their own transport. It may also be of benefit for people with children or dependent relatives. Telephone therapy sessions are a good alternative to having to cancel an appointment for clients who normally attend sessions but find it a problem on occasion because of transport breakdown or some other domestic emergency.  If you have a face-to-face appointment and find you cannot attend, please telephone the office who can arrange a telephone or Internet supervision for the same time, usually with just a few minutes’ notice.

Cancellation Policy

If you wish to change an appointment please give us as much notice as possible. Plenty of advance notice usually means that other clients are able to take advantage of the time. Cancellations, for whatever reason, at less than 24 hours notice usually attract the full sessional fee. This policy also applies in the case of employee assistance or other sponsored arrangements.
If you have any questions, or you are read to begin work, telephone us. The office takes calls on weekdays between 8.30am to 5.30pm.
