Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy Supervision

Cognitive Behavioural Supervision

Adam offers supervision to counsellors and psychotherapists who use CBT in their work. Occasional telephone consultations are also available.  Adam has several years’ experience of helping supervisees to work towards BABCP accreditation and also to help independent practitioners build a private practice.  He has a Post-Graduate Certificate in CBT Supervision.

Adam is able to offer supervision face to face, by telephone, and across the Internet through Skype.

Communication between Skype users is free.  Skype also supports web cam use.  Telephone and Internet supervision sessions are especially useful for supervisees located out of the North Wales area, or, indeed outside the UK.  They provide an ideal solution for CBT practitioners in parts of the world where there are few other CBT practitioners.

Skype can be downloaded for free at www.skype.com.

Telephone and Internet communication may also be a useful occasional alternative for supervisees who normally attend for face to face supervision but find themselves unable to attend, for example due to unexpected problems with transport.  In these circumstances electronic communication provides a good alternative and avoids a cancellation.  If you have a face-to-face appointment and find you cannot attend, please telephone the office who can arrange a telephone or Internet supervision for the same time, usually with just a few minutes’ notice.
Supervision sessions can be arranged by telephoning the office, or by emailing us.  If you are considering making a regular arrangement for supervision and have any further questions, feel free to email.

The fee for supervision is £45 per session.  Please see the fees and cancellations page for further details.”

Include a copy of a model supervision agreement on pdf introduced with the words “Click here to view the model supervision agreement used by the practice.  The agreement forms a basis for initial discussion and can altered to suit individual circumstances.
